Subject: [Friendsof2Creeks] RE: construction meetings

Dear Mark Brest Van Kempen and Fellow Creek Advocates,

Councilmember Brooks asked me to forward the message that she does indeed attend the Leona Quarry Construction Meetings in order to represent the best   interest of the community.  To this end she makes sure that the City is   upholding it's duty to enforce the Conditions of Approval, which are intended to protect the community's interest.  These conditions were developed with input from community members, first through traditional public hearings and public input periods and then through a settlement agreement between a group of neighbors and the City.  The main focus of the   construction meetings are infact to ensure compliance with all of the Conditions of Approval.  The intent is not to withold information from you or any other community member.

Councilmember Brooks goal is to continue to represent the interest of the community.
